That heading sounds a bit arrogant, but we were surprised to see the gap. We’re Tyrions compared to The Mountain that’s Facebook, but it’s been a good start.
Where’s the meat?
Well, for one of our latest financial clients, it’s been fantastic to see such results. The campaign’s Click Through Rate (CTR) was 3%. The UK Facebook average, from what we could divine from research and in chats with media experts, is around 1.15%.
Why did it work?
Our client ran a nicely positioned ad that appealed to our audience. Nothing is ever certain, but our belief is that it comes down to the relevance and context factors we’ve mentioned previously. Bad advertising isn’t of interest to anyone.
Here’s to the next campaign.
